Road cycling
Built in 1878/79 by Friedrich Wanderer on behalf of the municipality as the "Ludwigsbrunnen" (as a tribute to King Ludwig II of Bavaria) in place of an older market fountain. The figure of the fountain on the sandstone column, the Wendenmännchen with the sandstone block, points to the tradition of quarry work in the town.
