    Hiking

Flanked by high rise flats, King George's Park is a beautiful and quiet corner of nature. It was opened in 1923 by King George and boasts tennis courts, a bowling green, an adventure playground, leisure centre and skateboard park. Rowing boats once pottered about on the lake but it is now an important area for ecology. Walk across the bridge to fully appreciate it.

The lake is part of the King George's Park's important role as a wildlife corridor. Its waters are a haven for aquatic life, with its banks a calming place to let the world go by.
