Hiking
The historic Posse Cross has been re-erected on the small Heinzenberg in Altrich. It commemorates Matthias Poss, who was struck by lightning on May 24, 1845. Thanks to the commitment of his descendants and a generous donation, the cross was restored and given its original inscription. After years of decay and confusion by pilgrims, the monument has now found its place again - as a symbol of remembrance and history.
