In 2025, the castle houses a law firm and a private residence, and the grounds are not accessible.
Although the castle only got its current shape in 1840, its history dates back to 1280.
In 1937, it came to the Dewever family. They used the castle as a holiday home. After the Second World War, the castle was used as a shelter for war orphans. The castle was renovated from 1964 onwards.
