There is a trigonometric point here at the edge of the forest. It is used for land surveying. There is an old survey stone here as well as a new one. Both stones are probably used or were used for precise surveying and mapping of the Limes. The older stone probably dates from the end of the 19th century.

Slightly hidden at the edge of the forest near Marienhöhe is the trigonometric point „Drei Märker“, an exciting testament to historical land surveying. Three districts meet here, giving the place its name. In addition to an older survey stone, a newer marker can also be discovered.
