As always, the plan to go to Oberschefflenz on Friday unfortunately fell through due to the train situation. So I simply decided, why not hike to Adelsheim instead? No sooner said than done. Komoot tried to lead me somewhere where there was simply no path in sight. But I just followed the HW34 trail

Sun, rain, and clouds. We had it all today on this rather lovely forest trail. This is a route I know I should hike again in the summer.



My right foot held up well today and only bothered me once.

The plan was to hike from Asperg to Tamm, but I got off at the wrong stop. To follow my doctor's advice, I took a short walk up Hohenasperg. Despite the fog, it was a nice change of pace. I imagine the view is fantastic on a sunny day.

Today after work I simply needed some exercise to clear my head. So I followed an easy path from Tamm to Grossachsenheim. This path led through the very muddy Leuterbach valley along the Enz river.

When Saturday is fully booked, Sunday is the perfect day for a short hike. No sooner said than done, and I headed to Bad Urach. My main destination was the Hohen Urach castle ruins. The sun was inviting, so I headed towards Brühl to follow the elevated quality trail. It's a strenuous climb, but rewarded with a beautiful view. You can clearly see Teck Castle. The trail then continues along a path to the Beueren Fels rock formation, from which you can see the other side of the area
