The Wendelshäuschen in Prüm is a historic building with religious significance. It was built in 1840 in honor of Saint Wendel, who is considered the patron saint of fields and livestock. It used to be the starting point of the traditional jumping procession. On the back of the building is a coat of arms stone of the last Prüm abbot, Christoph von Manderscheid, who worked from 1546 to 1576.
This small chapel is a cultural monument of the region and commemorates the deeply rooted traditions and religious customs in the Eifel.
Adjacent is a memorial dedicated to the victims of the two world wars. On Remembrance Day, commemorations are held there to commemorate the fallen.
