Hiking
The town of Nyborg, located on the Great Belt, lies on Denmark's main transport route,
connecting Copenhagen to Funen and Jutland by road and rail.
The station on the Copenhagen–Fredericia railway line was relocated north in 1998,
when the bridge was opened and ferry service was discontinued.
The Nyborg–Slipshavn branch line was closed in 1956, the Svendborg–Nyborg line in 1964, and the branch line via Ringe to Faaborg in 1965.

Hiking
