Hiking
The Clavé Monument, located on Passeig de Sant Joan in Barcelona, honors poet and composer José Anselmo Clavé. Designed by architect José Vilaseca and sculptor Manuel Fuxá, it was inaugurated in 1888. The statue depicts Clavé holding a baton and sheet music, and it stands on a 9-meter pedestal adorned with laurel crowns and harps. Initially placed at Rambla de Catalunya, it faced criticism for its grandeur and was moved to its current location in 1956. The statue was also altered with a taller base and gold paint, which has since worn off.
