We were made to feel really welcome at the Angler's Rest, even arriving in January on our bikes when we were pretty muddy and wet.

It's warm and friendly, with great ales and a fab cafe menu too - the fish finger sandwiches were corking! For the summer there's a seating area outside where you could sit with your bikes.

Its a pub, cafe and post office all in one. If you're there before lunchtime try a bacon / currant teacake buttie - sounds weird but is actually very yummy!
