This sculpture of Ragnar Persson, created by Robert Eriksson, has stood at the entrance to Föllinge since around 1990. This cross-country skier, born on September 19, 1938, has lived in the town since 1961. Between 1963 and 1968, Persson, who called himself Ragnar "Föllinge" Persson, was Swedish champion eight times over 15, 30 and 50 kilometers, as well as in the relay over three times 10 kilometers.
