World's largest witch's broom in the Harz Witch Kingdom

Welcome to the magical world of the Harz Witch Kingdom: In the northernmost tip of Thuringia, in Rothesütte, a viewing tower in the shape of the world's largest witch's broom will be built by 2025 with a fantastic, magical exhibition and a bewitched adventure forest experience play world - a perfect excursion destination for families, in the middle of the Harz.

You can easily get to the viewing platform of the 70-meter-high tower by elevator and, if you want, you can quickly get back down on one of the two slides. The bright white steel construction is reminiscent of the twigs of a witch's broom and thus picks up on the typical Harz theme of witches, which runs like a thread through the entire witch kingdom. Fans of magic and sorcery will get their money's worth here. Let yourself be surprised!

Currently still under construction. The view promises to be magnificent.

This new Harz attraction has now opened after about a year of construction. (October 2025)

Surprisingly high entrance fees, even for children!
Why are there only day tickets? One to two hours would be perfectly sufficient.

To share something positive: Overall, we still enjoyed it. Access to the truly excellent playground is (so far) free of charge. Only the parking fee is payable, which is currently reasonable at €5 for a maximum of four hours.
