The Hamburg Rübenkamp station, also referred to as City Nord in traffic plans, is a stop on the Hamburg S-Bahn in Barmbek-Nord.
The station is located east of City Nord in Barmbek-Nord. Access to the platform is possible via bridges from Hebebrandstrasse and Rübenkamp in the north
and Rübenkamp and Dakarweg in the south.
When the Hamburg-Altona city and suburban railway was put into operation in 1906, no stop was planned at this point on the section of the route between the main station and Ohlsdorf station. The station, which opened at the end of 1913, was built with the aim of connecting the Barmbek hospital, which was built at the same time. Access to the platform, which is located in a north-south direction, was via a covered bridge to the north through the station building to the east and another bridge to the south, which also led east.

In the 1970s, the south bridge was replaced by a footbridge that now only led west. This was intended to improve the connection to the office buildings in the City North. The north bridge was largely demolished shortly before the station building was sold in the early 1980s. As a replacement, a wooden walkway was built that leads past the station building.

Between 2010 and 2012, the northern entrance to the station was converted to be barrier-free by retrofitting an elevator.

After the renovation work in the 1980s, the building, which was no longer needed, was to be demolished. In 1984, an association acquired the building, which was listed in 1987. Today, the rooms are used for events.

The "Schachcafé" restaurant with a beer garden is also now located here.

The station has a covered central platform and an elevator at the northern end. The nearest bus stop is on Hebebrandstrasse.
