The artistic project of La Boverie offers both a program of international exhibitions and a new framework for the permanent collections of the City of Liège. The basement of the building houses the best collections of Fine Arts of the City of Liège: Lambert Lombard, Gérard de Lairesse, Ingres, Gauguin, Chagall, Picasso, Evenepoel, Delvaux, Magritte and others, testifying to the modernity of art in all periods, from the Renaissance to the present day. The course, accessible to as many people as possible, is accompanied by interactive didactic support in four languages. Several works are classified as "treasures" of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. On the first floor, temporary exhibitions take place over approximately 3000 m. These exhibitions are organized by the City of Liège. Some of them collaborate with the Louvre.
