Tips
The market square with its historic half-timbered houses is particularly attractive due to its generous area. In the center stands a fountain with the statue of the Überkum. This pious Baunacher citizen lived in the 15th century. As a pilgrim, he visited the pilgrimage places of Rome, Compostella and the Holy Land. He is buried in the Magdalen Chapel.
