Tips
When the cows are led to the alpine pastures in summer, the Ackernalm mountain inn is also open. 320 of these cows stand in the meadow next door and provide milk for the in-house cheese dairy, where Emmental cheese, mountain cheese and butter are produced. The inn also offers rooms and dormitories for accommodation. The morning ringing of cowbells is included.

On the Ackernalm there is a show dairy and in the working Alm about 50 hm lower directly on the way there is a good menu with moderate prices and a great service !!!!
