When the cows are led to the alpine pastures in summer, the Ackernalm mountain inn is also open. 320 of these cows stand in the meadow next door and provide milk for the in-house cheese dairy, where Emmental cheese, mountain cheese and butter are produced. The inn also offers rooms and dormitories for accommodation. The morning ringing of cowbells is included.

Hiking

The Almgasthof is open for you every day and provides you with hot dishes from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. In the show dairy in Ackernalm you can see every day from May to October how Tyrolean Emmental and mountain cheese are produced in Austria's largest and most modern alpine dairy.
