The rock was named after the poet Eduard Mörike. The poet worked for almost two years in Ochsenwang as a pastor. Just one square meter of rock was one of his favorite places.
From here you have a great view of Hepsisau and Neidlingen. The three Kaiser mountains and the Aichelberg are also u.a. to see.
