Hiking Highlight
The ascent to the waterfall is worthwhile. Very steep over lots of roots. At the end of December the steep steps were a waterfall of their own - the bridge over the creek was frozen very smoothly there. Going down this path is not without problems, especially when it is wet. But there is an alternative way down.

Pure nature feeling, however, when we were there was only a little water leading.

We were there after the snow melted and after a long period of rain and were very astonished and delighted at the masses of water that came down

Today the waterfall really deserves its name. It's amazing how the water runs out of the rock at the 2 source points. So always wait for heavy rain and snowmelt

There is a bench halfway up the waterfall path. From there you have a very nice view of the waterfall. Definitely visit after thawing snow or rains.geopark-alb.de/pdf/GP-Tafel-Neidlinger-Wasserfall-klein.pdf?m=1598453581&

Maybe not as spectacular as the big brothers Gütersteiner and Uracher Wasserfall, but for me clearly beautiful! Because more mystical and dreamy!

There is a bench halfway up the Neidlinder waterfall. Here you are very close to the waterfall and can let the sounds take their effect, either roaring or muttering

The "waterfall" are located near Neidlingen in the Esslingen district, Baden-Württemberg.- Since 2019 the waterfall Geopoint of the UNESCO Global Geopark Swabian Alb (geopark-alb.de/pdf/GP-Tafel-Neidlinger-Wasserfall-klein.pdf?m=1598453581&)- The "Lindach" is fed by the two karst springs
- The pouring of the waterfall (= amount of water in volume per time) is subject to strong fluctuations
- After longer periods of dryness, the karst water level sinks and the springs dry up, so the waterfall is only a trickle- Also worth seeing is the porous rock "limestone tuff" that you can observe / look at here at the waterfallNote: Moss-tuff cushions grow very slowly and the filigree structures are very vulnerable, i.e. if they are destroyed, they will have to regenerate over a long period of time!
Therefore please do not enter the area of the waterfall !!!- s. neidlingen.de/de/freizeit-vereinsleben/neidlinger-wasserfall

The forest path along the falls is difficult to find.
You can also climb the falls a little when the water is low.

After the snow melts, an absolute highlight how the water comes out of the karst rock
