A round trip from the hiking car park in Eybach to the Mühlbach spring, Church of the Assumption to the Lower Roggenmühle (A little further up the street there is the Upper Roggenmühle - this is a popular restaurant with a spacious beer garden. There are Swabian specialties and freshly caught trout from our own breeding. See also "obereroggenmuehle.de" - but my tour only leads to the Lower Roggenmühle). From here you go directly to the right in the Magental and to the Roggenstein castle stable (today's castle stable of the 15 by 30 meter castle complex still shows the neck ditch). From here then back into the rock valley and over the Eybach forest chapel to the starting point for the hiking car park in Eybach. The tour is rocky and pure nature.
Through the Roggen valley to the striking entrance of the Magental with its protruding rock formations. Here you can find some climbers. Over the Alb plateau around Waldhausen and along the local railway line it goes down into the rock valley, which inspires with silence and naturalness.
The Magental and Felsental can only be walked with good sure-footedness in damp weather but it is worth it - a fantastic silence and mood.
In Waldhausen there is a connection to the historic local railway.

My tour goes from the hiking car park in Amstetten above the Mühltalfels with a view of the Geislinger train route to the Michael Knolle memorial to the Ödenturm with a wonderful view of Geislingen to the Helfenstein castle ruins. Here, too, a great view of Geislingen. Continue through the old town to the Ostland Cross Sentinel opposite. The return journey then over the Tiroler Fels, Geiselsteinhaus, Wittenberger Fels back to Amstetten.
The highlight of this tour is the wonderful view on both sides of the Geislinger Steige along the entire circular tour, of course with the Ödenturm and the castle ruin Helfenstein.

The circular route Burg Hohenstaufen unites the four villages of Hohenstaufen, Maitis, Wäschenbeuren and Hohrein with the castle and the historic Göppinger Hausberg the Hohenstaufen.
It is a 13 kilometer long tour that starts at the parking lot of the youth hostel Hohenstaufen. On the way there is a great view of the natural side of the Hohenstaufen.

Route from the parking lot in the open-air museum Beuren over Beurener rock, Brucker rock, Wilhelmsfels and castle Hohenneuffen.Visible from afar, the 743 m high rock massif of Hohenneuffen emerges from the Albtrauf. Its rocky outcrop bears a heterogeneous ensemble of ruins, which in its core goes back to a high medieval hilltop castle.
From the castle you have a magnificent view along the Albkette over the wide Neckarland, over the Stuttgart heights to the Black Forest and the Swabian mountains. The popular Neuffener Täleswein thrives on its slopes.
The entrance to the castle is free. There is a restaurant with beer garden and as an addition a wonderful wide view :-)
It is open Monday to Friday every day at 3pm and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at 1pm and 3pm castle tours.
The falconry Wolfgang Weller comes every Sunday and public holiday at 12, 14 and 16 o'clock with his falconry show on the castle.

The majority of the castle complex belongs to the military area, in addition there are rooms of the Förderkreis Bundesfestung Ulm in the Kehlturm.
As part of the redirection of the Bundeswehr announced in 2011 by Defense Minister Thomas de Maizière, the Ulm command was reclassified on 1 July 2013 to the Multinational Command Operational Leadership / Multinational Joint Headquarters Ulm. Members of the armed forces of almost 20 European states are stationed in the Wilhelmsburg barracks.
The courtyard is used for official events of the Bundeswehr and the Theater Ulm for outdoor performances. In addition, the Förderkreis Bundesfestung offers a free tour on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 11 o'clock. A registration is not necessary.

An official route that the town of Owen an der Teck has on the homepage.
"The Dwarves of Owen" - route number 3.
Starting point is the trail parking lot "Maienwasen" then Engelberg / Spitzenberg / open-air museum Beuren and on the Beurener rock back to the trail parking lot.
A detour to the open-air museum is always worthwhile.

Unfortunately, I did not save the route offline, so there is not much of a track here. From the trail parking lot "Brucker Sägmühle" to the Schiller Grotto.
If you want to make a detour to the rogue blade here on this route - this is completely blocked by a landslide until further notice.
