The Notre Dame church is located in the heart of downtown Metz. It was built by the Jesuits from 1665 to 1741 in the baroque Gesu style and is currently being restored. This important and particularly dynamic church is a popular venue for concerts thanks to the quality of its Cavaillé-Coll organ, its excellent acoustics and its large dimensions.
