Heute wurde offiziell die Radbrücke an der Panzerstraße in Böblingen als Teil des RS1 (Radschnellweg 1) eröffnet. Damit kann die Kreisstraße mit inzwischen deutlich über 20.000 Fahrzeugen pro Tag gefahrlos gequert werden. Bei Festakt sprachen unter anderem der Landrat Roland Bernhard, der Verkehrsminister von BW, Winfried Hermann, sowie der Oberbürgermeister von Böblingen, Stefan Belz. Der ADFC war mit Vertretern der Kreisverbände Stuttgart und Böblingen sowie mehrerer Ortsgruppen sehr gut sichtbar repräsentiert.
