The Museum Festung Xperience (Dresden), also known as Dresden Kasematten, is a museum opened in 1992 in the preserved part of the Dresden fortifications at the end of the old town of Dresden facing the Elbe. In 2017 it was closed for a major makeover and reopened to visitors in 2019 under the name Fortress Xperience with the Festivals, Dramas and Disasters exhibition.
One entrance is directly on the beautiful Brühlsche Terrasse in a depicted cube, where there is a lift that takes you down to the museum.

A media-entertaining guided tour through the vaults of the fortress using headphones and automatic location detection.

The design is interesting, but in terms of content, more questions are raised than answered, it seemed to us. Nevertheless, an interesting insight into an otherwise rather unknown place in Dresden directly under the Brühl'sche Terrasse.
