This fountain is located in a forest clearing on the Quellenweg near Nagel-Mühlbühl. A nice place to take a rest.

The Hans König fountain is located directly on the Quellenweg near the town of Nagel-Mühlbühl (district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtel Mountains) and commemorates the long-time chairman of the FGV local association Nagel. It was created by the FGV members in around 200 working hours in 1998 and inaugurated in May with great sympathy. The approximately 12-ton fountain stone was brought to its new location from the adjacent forest by low-loader. For drainage, a 20 cubic meter septic tank was excavated and filled with field stones. In 1999, stonemason master Thomas Deyerl carved a dedication into the fountain. The Hans König fountain with its benches on the shady edge of the forest invites hikers to take a break with a wonderful view. (Literature: Frankenpost Hof from May 21/22, 1998; FGV association magazine Der Siebenstern 1998, p. 242).
