Plac Bankowy in Warsaw is a historic square located between Aleja "Solidarności" and Senatorska and Elektoralna streets. It was built in 1825 on the site of the courtyard of the Ogiński Palace, and its development was made up of monumental buildings designed by Antonio Corazzi. During World War II, the square was destroyed, and after the war it was rebuilt and expanded, obtaining the shape of a rectangle. In the years 1951-1989 it was called Feliks Dzierżyński Square, and in 1989 its historical name was restored. In 2023, it was modernized, creating a bicycle path and planting new trees. Among the more important buildings are the Palace of the Government Commission of Revenues and Treasury, the Blue Tower, and the monuments of Juliusz Słowacki and Stefan Starzyński.
