The picturesque half-timbered church was built in 1868. The wooden bell tower stands next to the church.

Fischwasser Church, with its separate bell tower, is a specialty in this area. It was built around 1700. The Gothic inscription on the baptismal font probably refers to 1386, the year it was built.

The half-timbered church, which is covered with a hipped roof, was built in the second half of the 17th century. A little to the east, the free-standing, board-clad bell tower, which is covered with a pyramid roof, was built in 1699. Two church bells hang in its belfry, a small one cast in 1410 and a large one cast in 1798. The church furnishings include a baroque pulpit altar from 1789 and a baptismal font from 1386. An organ was installed in the gallery in 1852.
