These sculptures were placed on Ritterstraße in 1992. In the Middle Ages, where the pharmacy is now, there was a house that two brothers inherited. They fought over the estate and agreed to bow to the house. It is clear that one wins and moves in and scoffs at the other who gets up and away.

The landmark of the town of Döbeln was once two stone heads that could be seen on the first floor of the first house (dating from 1504) on the town wall (roughly today's pharmacy on the Oberbrücke). The house was demolished in 1850 and the factory building at Ritterstrasse 20 (later the Thieme liqueur factory, now a pharmacy) was built. Unfortunately, the landmark was not walled up again and was lost.
