If you love adventure, you should definitely go through the tunnel. Because the other end is around a curve, it feels like it's going on endlessly in the dark. You can shine with a mobile phone flashlight, but a headlamp or a decent flashlight would be a better choice. Water left and right, so be careful where you step. In some places it also drips from the ceiling. A real experience :-)

The tunnel is about 1.5 km long and is used today for water supply. It is therefore essential to have a decent lamp with you. It should be noted that the tunnel is also used by many hikers. It always has bulges to avoid, which is also necessary due to the narrow path.

The tunnel experience is really cool (damp, narrow, dark - cell phone light is actually not enough, it gets resinous) but what comes afterwards is great. Towards the end of the valley there is a great mountain panorama with a view of the Stockhorn. And my highlight was the way back via the Gorperi bisse (historical, artificial watercourse). The trail is very narrow and exposed in parts. When in doubt, push is the order of the day. There are also a few small rock tunnels, one of which is very narrow.
