From the Gräbelesberg, with its steep rock faces, there are fantastic views in various directions. From the northwestern summit, the view extends across the Balingen area and far into the Black Forest. The directly opposite heights of Schalksburg and Böllat are also visible. The eastern rock face directs the view towards the Heersberg, Tierberg, and the Wachtfels above Ebingen. The Gräbelesberg was settled in the sixth to eighth centuries, as evidenced by the earthworks located towards Hossingen.
