Oberdigisheim Reservoir

The Oberdigisheim reservoir is a popular destination and ideal for swimming in summer. Generous lawns offer plenty of space. A circular path around the lake invites you to go for a walk, and the bathing island in the middle of the reservoir is particularly popular with younger bathers.

There is a playground for children and two barbecue areas right next to the lake. On hot summer days, the Kneipp facility above the lake with a small barefoot path offers visitors the opportunity to cool off.

Parking spaces, changing rooms and toilet facilities are available (however, use of the lake facilities is at your own risk). Anglers also get their money's worth. Fishing in the reservoir is possible after purchasing a fishing license.

The flood retention basin, which was inaugurated in 1983, has meanwhile developed into a leisure pool and angler's paradise.
Before the construction started, I went for a walk on the banks of the Kohlstatt-Brunnenbach, the water of which is dammed up here.
