Hohenburladingen Castle is the ruin of a spur castle on the 895.4 m above sea level high Hochwacht, about 500 meters north of the town of Burladingen in the Zollernalb district in Baden-Württemberg.

The castle ruins are located north of the valley of the Fehla, which rises to the east, at the spur-like end of a plateau, which is bordered to the east by a small north-south V-shaped valley running to the Fehla. The so-called Kreuzfelsen is located on the castle grounds, and further east of it, on a rocky outcrop, is the approximately 34-meter-long Höllenstein Cave with finds from the time of the Celts.

Ruins of Hohe Wacht Castle, formerly Hohenburladingen Castle, beautifully situated on the Kreuzfelsenweg

The castle was built around 1100. It was demolished in the middle of the 13th century.

The name of the castle has not been recorded. The only reference that may refer to this castle can be found in the Burladingen church calendar of 1617, updated in 1697.

Only part of a tower stump has survived from the castle

(just under 6 x 6 m) with remains of the wall shell made of small blocks. In literature, therefore, it is sometimes referred to as a watchtower rather than a castle. Behind the rocky mountain peak with the remains of the partially supported tower, the rest of the castle grounds extend a little further down as a leveled area (approximately 10 x 20 m).
