There are a variety of nice shops in Mandala Street mainly for souvenirs, such as Jeevan Kala, which makes a wonderful selection of souvenirs from waste, which is well worth a visit.
There are also a number of nice coffee houses like Himalayan Coffee as well as restaurants like New Orleans that offer a nice rest and food in between shopping excursions.
