Built in 1463, the city seat of the barons of Truchseß of Wetzhausen is one of the oldest half-timbered houses in the district. The coat of arms and the year are displayed on the small round arch of the central building. The Truchseßhaus served in the past as Zehnthof. Since 1804 it is used as a pharmacy. Worth seeing are the artfully forged figurehead and a neo-Gothic Madonna figure.

The beautiful half-timbered house, originally built in 1463 as the seat of the barons Truchseß von Wetzhausen, has been a pharmacy since 1804. In 1995/96, the facade was lovingly restored, making it one of the most beautiful half-timbered houses on the market square.
