"The name of this plank staircase in the south of Westerland says it all. With a height of 26 meters, the highest staircase on the island offers an indescribable panoramic view of the beach, sea and Westerland after 95 or 105 steps (from the beach side). Each step brings you a little closer to the long-awaited view. Once you reach the top, out of breath, the reward is at least as breathtaking as the climb itself.
Tip: Around the viewing platform at the top, seven display boards illustrate facts about the flora, fauna and geology of the island."translated by
