The church is a field stone whose date of origin was probably in the 15th century, the tower was probably added a little later. In the 18th century the church was rebuilt in Baroque style. So the tower received a curly hood with lantern.

The pulpit altar dates from 1720 to 1740, the baptismal font from the early 16th century. The baptismal font was created at the beginning of the 16th century. The organ dates from 1761. In 1867 the church was extensively rebuilt.

The church was the mother church since 1325, today it belongs to Oehna.
