The church dates back to the 15th century. In the 17th century, it was expanded to include a chapel on the northern side. In the 18th century, a half-timbered tower was added. In the years 1871-1872, a thorough renovation was carried out, combined with reconstruction. The window openings and roof truss were changed at that time.
