The ruins of the palace in Stanowice. The palace was built by the von Mavitz family at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries. In the 18th century, the palace was thoroughly rebuilt by its next owner, Wilhelm Bayer. The next owner, Emil Treichel, added two new wings and a tower in 1870-71. Until World War II, the palace changed owners several times and was rebuilt several times, but the overall shape of the building did not change. After the war, the building served residential and then office functions. It is currently in ruins, but the roof has been replaced, so there is hope that it will not continue to deteriorate and will be rebuilt.

The manor house of Stennewitz is located between the former estate and a landscape park. The oldest parts of the building are relics of a fortified manor house, probably built on the initiative of Asmus von der Marwitz. Renovations and extensions took place in the 18th and 19th centuries. The manor house underwent the greatest structural change in 1872/72 under the lord of the manor Karl Treichel. The west wing was designed in the style of the Weser Renaissance and received a slender tower with an obelisk-shaped helmet, more than doubling the usable space of the house. The manor house retained this appearance until 1945, after which the historical building fabric was lost due to ill-conceived renovation measures.
