Well, listen, always nice and great to train your stamina. Ascent from Waltersdorf is quite angry and no picnic with children, more pleasant from the Czech side. If you descend from the Lausche to Horni Svetla (beautiful larch forests) you have the chance to drink a beer and order a garlic soup in one of the restaurants.

Keep left in Horni Svetla and have a garlic soup in the small restaurant. The ultimate culinary highlight of the tour.

The ascent from Jägerdörfel is easier and more scenic than the ascent on the German side. From the Lausche you can enjoy a panoramic view when visibility is good.

One of the many Grenzkipfel border mountains on our tour, we took the ascent over the scree field, hard but incredibly beautiful.

Impressive and fascinating panoramic view from the highest mountain in the Zittau Mountains, the Lausche, at 793 m above sea level.

Sometimes the summit can also be experienced without clouds. It's always stormy up here.
Then you really have a great view in every direction.
    Up to the anticipated Lilienstein.

The highest mountain in the Zittau Mountains and Germany east of the Elbe.
Mine has a breathtaking training here, and the arduous ascent is worth it.

Very nice view from the Lausche. But with 2 small children from Waltersdorf already a number, but feasible with short stops. Do not forget the walking stick!

The panoramic view compensates for the arduous climb. Halfway up, you can stop off in the Hubertusbaude.
At the Lausche soon also a raised viewing platform will be created, so that an even better vision is to arise.

The steep descent from the Lausche of my tour is not suitable for children or older hikers. Very steep and no firm ground, absolutely sure-footedness and sturdy footwear required. The path leads right past the landmarks.

Great all-round view, which the Lausche offers as the highest point in good weather.

the Lauschhübel with its tree-free summit offers a fantastic all-round view of the Zittau Mountains. Since the new tower is now ready, a tour is even more worthwhile. The ascent from the German side is very demanding.

Magnificent all-round view from the Lausche to Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany. Only a small snack offer is missing.

Beautiful all-round view. The climb exactly on the border with 20 kg of luggage is a highlight for the thighs. :)

If you choose the steep ascent, it is quite a strenuous undertaking.
However, the view is worth every effort!
