The threshold height at the Iltios mountain station is 1,339 m above sea level. From there, the Iltios–Chäserrugg cable car leads to the 2,262-meter-high Chäserrugg, the first of the Churfirsten ranges, and ski lifts, including those to the Stöfeli. The cable car opened in 1934 and rebuilt in summer 2005.
