One of the oldest churches in Grodzisk district. Despite later reconstructions, it is an example of late Gothic sacral architecture in Mazovia.
On April 8, 1914, the funeral service of the famous painter Józef Chełmoński took place in the church. He was buried in a nearby historic cemetery.
