Tips
The Manrother See is a former basalt opencast mine. Relics of the volcanic past accompany us throughout the hike. A display board at the Bertenauer Weitblick provides information about the panorama that can be seen.

A beautiful little lake. Basalt was once removed here. The traces of the dismantling can still be seen.

Great view of the lake. Depending on where you look over the lake, it looks like a small mini fjord. 😉
