The current synagogue of the Jewish Community of Karlsruhe dates back to 1971. It preceded several previous buildings. Already in the first decade after the founding of the city (1715), the Jews of Karlsruhe in Kronenstraße had a house of prayer with Mikwe. The new synagogue has a hexagonal floor plan, the roof construction forms a Star of David, triangles inclined on the walls. The interior creates a tent-like impression. Under the synagogue hall is a ballroom. A mikwe is missing. The head of IRG Baden is also based in office cultivation.
