A very special rest option, it has a bit of a snack character, but it tastes good and does not take too long even with a lot of traffic.

Possibility to rest with gastronomy. The Steinerne Renne is a 2.5 km long valley section of the Holtemme southwest of the Hasserode district of Wernigerode that has been designated as a natural monument.

The Holtemme, which has its source on the Brocken massif, has formed a bizarre gorge of granite rock over millions of years, in which numerous waterfalls and rapids can be observed.

A great house. The gastronomic offer does not do justice to the location of the house.

Once a very popular excursion restaurant, the outdoor facilities are unfortunately somewhat neglected.

The climb is very exhausting but nice. The food is not that good.

The location of the inn is very nice. The view of the upper reaches of the Holtemme is recommended. The river flows here over wide slabs of rock.

The Steinerne Renne is an interesting river and the hiking trail named after it is also very interesting..
It is available in a relatively easy but also difficult version. Good shoes and sure-footedness are required for the difficult variant. The section from the Steinerne Rinne restaurant, the Steinerne Renne waterfalls to the Steinerne Renne train station is particularly recommended. To the right of the river is the difficult variant and to the left is the easy variant!

Just a beautiful piece of earth when you come down from the forest, walk over the beautiful bridge and see this beautiful house standing there. If you then strengthen yourself there and listen to the flow, you almost want to sit longer.
