Good, drinkable water still gushes from the spring. Locals often come to fill the water in canisters. Some like to leave tourists with their single bottle.

Near Poggio, there is a spring that flows from one of the valleys of Monte Capanne.
The ancient name of this spring was once Fonte Acquaviva (Source of Living Water), later renamed Fonte Napoleone.
It is said to have healing powers.
The label bears a Latin proverb, "In aqua salus": Health is in water.
The Fonte Napoleone facility now bottles the mineral water.
