Depending on where you are staying - I am always in Niederlana.
Starting in Niederlana at the Gasthaus Waalrast, you can walk to Mittellana - approx. 4 km / 45 minutes at a good pace / 60 minutes at a leisurely pace.
You can also walk a little further after the Gasthaus Waalrast to the waterfall. Very great - especially if it has rained a lot the day before, then the waterfall is a feast for the eyes.
There are always sculptures there - they are also nice to look at
