The City Hall is where the government of the Canton of Geneva is based. It is also a very unique place. The building has a monumental ramp that allows access to the upper floor on foot and on horseback. Also, the building hosted the first Geneva Convention in 1864, the first milestone in the creation of the Red Cross.
