The construction of the new town hall began on July 5, 1937, as the old town hall from 1636 was dilapidated. The inauguration of the town hall was celebrated on the fair Monday in 1938. At that time, around 614 inhabitants lived in Iptingen. Even today, it serves as an external office of the municipality.
