In 2012, on Valentine's Day, a "Romantic Bench" was placed on the Kazimierz Market Square, commemorating Kazimierz Dolny's victory in the poll for "The Most Romantic Place in Poland". In the vote organized by Sympatia.pl and Onet.pl, Kazimierz beat out Kraków and Wrocław, among others, winning over 70 thousand votes.

The bench was designed to match other benches on the Market Square, while at the same time standing out with a slight bend in the seat, which makes people sitting on it naturally approach each other. The colors refer to the Kazimierz Dolny logo.
