The Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kazimierz Dolny was founded by Bartłomiej and Mikołaj Przybyła and consecrated in 1591. In later years, it was expanded to include a presbytery, a monastic choir and the chapels of St. Roch and St. Sebastian. After a fire in 1827, the church gained classicist features. The church has preserved its original furnishings, including the main altar from 1770 and the painting of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary from 1600, crowned in 1986. There are also other historic elements, including doors from 1589 and altar paintings.
