Gravel i Przygoda

My previous winter riding experiences were challenging:

First, staying on a gravel bike without gripping the slush.

Second: participating in the Wataha winter ultramarathon. There, I understood what cold feels like.

Now, it's completely different. I'm finally riding confidently. The tires stick to the ground

Seeing what's happening in the capital, I escape to the forest. It's idyllic here. The forest has taken on beautiful autumn colors and smells of mushrooms. It's damp, so I have to be careful. I visit old haunts. I make a loop around Czarny Staw. It's nice to see patriotic picnics. I look up at the thick

Toruń always looks good. Even in the rain, it has its charm. I wandered around the old haunts for a bit, bought some gingerbread, and returned to base. That's all, because it's raining and there's nothing more to write.

A nice autumn under my wheels. I'm heading to the Amazon. It's drizzling. I know it's going to be muddy and good fun. I'll have to be careful on the jumps. My broken rib from the eMTB is stinging, but the endorphins are taking over. It's beautiful

Nice. Sunny ☀️ 23°. It's hard to think about returning to my gray and cold homeland. After all, it's my lair. I've pushed the rain and clouds out of my head for now.



I walked around Praia Grande, looking at the happy surfers. This is my farewell to the Atlantic Ocean. Time to think about my next trip.

The manor house surprised us with a wonderful breakfast. The view outside was beautiful… for a moment. After breakfast, the milk was spilled. We descended in white. What a beautiful route. We passed a forest church. A rocky trail nearby. The route descended steeply at times, requiring us to reverse direction

A new day woke me up in the mountain hut on Szyndzielnia.



All my limbs seemed to be working. A quick breakfast with the men and coffee with a view. Finally, I set off down.

Descent along the mountain trail to Dębowiec. A lung or a rib is acting up after yesterday's hard work. A pill and the pain is gone

The mountain hut on Stożek is a unique place. Perfect for starting a trip through the Beskid Mountains.



I'm flying down. The route is fabulous. I reach the church on Stecówka with my friends. The sun is shining brightly.



Then I continue uphill to Przysłop. I sip my żurek soup and contemplate a pleasant

The golden hour caught us before entering the forest. It's a steep climb here, over rocks. The ebike weighs too much to climb. Walking mode saves us.



Finally, we reach the pass. It's almost dark, the last remnants of the sun looming over the horizon, and the stars are scattered across the sky. Finally

I don't even remember when I clocked 1,372 km.



I bought the "Zwierz" for my big birthday as a cycling dream come true. Until then, I'd been blasting gravel, but I felt like I wanted to find more fun riding on difficult trails. And surprisingly, you can even find such trails in Mazovia.
