Et comme une faïence bleue, Salomé Fauc

Salomé Fauc’s creative work engages her whole body, body and mind drawn into the artistic act. A fan of large installations, she is one with her medium: paper. The young artist works with a brush or finger, leaning, sitting, lying down to better apply black or colored Indian ink, enhanced in places with pastel and gold paint. The vertical strips, decorated with decorative plant motifs, let the light filter through, like stained glass windows. The landscape thus drawn unfolds in the passage from floor to ceiling, in a decorative form fully assumed and claimed by the artist. Blue dominates, a subtle evocation of Geneviève Asse's work. Here, everything is transparent, can be guessed or touched. Floral arabesques, like ivy, cover the space and the walls in countless variations that are ideal for strolling.
